Mobile, AL - October 22nd, 2004 - The Federal Aviation Administration has issued Star Aviation of Mobile, Alabama an STC for the installation of Connexions by Boeing Next Generation Antenna and Satellite Data Systems on Boeing 777-300 type aircraft.
The Connexions by Boeing system provides a robust suite of broadband two-way data and entertainment services to commercial airlines. Users are offered a suite of services, which includes stored and rebroadcast video and audio, as well as internet and corporate intranet access. The corporate intranet access allows users to connect to their own enterprises, either through the internet or with a pre-arranged direct interface.
