Aviation Engineering and Manufacturing Company Receives
Prestigious Certification

Mobile, AL March 14, 2007 – Star Aviation was recently honored with the recognition of becoming AS9100 certified by QMI, North America's leading management systems registrar.  AS9100 certification is the gold standard in the aviation industry and is reserved only for aviation companies committed to providing excellent service.

Star Aviation was established in 1999 as an aircraft engineering, certification, manufacturing, and technical services company.  Star Aviation is an industry leader in the post-delivery modification of commercial and private aircraft for in-flight entertainment systems.  Star’s services include avionics upgrades, STC certification, structural and electrical design, wireless cabin distribution systems, high-speed data system installation, and live television, all supported by a comprehensive wire and metal fabrication facility.  Star Aviation has a FAA Parts Manufacturing Authority for several STC programs.
