Mobile, Ala., January 22, 2008 - Star Aviation and Borowski Engineering & Analytical Services announced today the merger between the two respective companies. The addition of Borowski Engineering adds decades of marine engineering experience to Star Aviation, a company with over 110 employees and a wealth of knowledge and experience in aviation engineering and manufacturing. Star Aviation maintains a staff of over 75 engineers and designers, therefore, benefiting Borowski’s clients with more services. Borowski Engineering was founded in 2000 to offer computer-aided design, linear and non-linear finite element analysis, heat transfer and event simulation for a variety of industries. Borowski’s recent projects include supporting Northrop Grumman on the design of weapons elevators for air craft carriers and foundations for marine fire suppression systems for the next generation of Navy ships.
